WWE legend Hulk Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, sadly passed away Thursday (July 24). Hogan is one of the most recognized wrestlers in the world, boasting 12 world championship titles.
According to sources, medics were called to Hogan’s home in Clearwater, Florida, early in the morning in response to a reported cardiac arrest. Shortly after, the 71-year-old was transported into an ambulance on a stretcher.
Hogan had reportedly undergone multiple medical procedures in recent months, including a neck surgery in May and a more recent heart surgery.
The wrestler has made a few surprising appearances at country music events over the years, including his friend Jason Aldean’s concert.
Hogan Got On Stage With Jason Aldean In 2023
In October of 2023, the wrestling legend joined Aldean during his Highway Desperado Tour in Tampa, Florida.
Hogan grabbed Aldean’s guitar and hyped up the crowd during the show.
“What’s up, Jason Aldean maniacs?,” Hogan exclaimed. “What’s up, Tampa, Florida? Let me hear how much love you’ve got for Jason Mania, brother!”
He then blew kisses, shared a handshake and hug with Aldean, then exited to roaring cheers from the audience.
