WWE Legend Hulk Hogan Dies At 71
On July 24th, news broke that wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan had passed away. He was 71 years old.
Medical personnel were called to his home in Clearwater, Florida, early that morning. The dispatch call revealed that responders attempted to revive him for 30 minutes. Hogan, born Terrence Gene Bollea, was transported via ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he was declared to be deceased.
His death was confirmed by Clearwater Police Major Nate Burnside in a news conference that afternoon. Additionally, Burnside noted that there were no signs or suspicion of foul play surrounding the athlete’s death.
Later, the news was shared by Hogan’s family on his official social media pages. They wrote:
“It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that we confirm we have lost a legend. Our beloved Terry Bollea, known worldwide as Hulk Hogan, passed away today surrounded by his loved ones. At this time of grief, we ask that everyone please respect the privacy of his family and friends. May we all take solace in the wonderful memories he left behind for the millions of fans worldwide whose lives he touched for more than four decades. He will be missed, but never forgotten.“
